Designed to warn the vision impaired of an impending hazard or to provide directional guidance. As part of The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance, it is now mandatory to provide Tactile Warning Indicators (TGSI) to stairs, ramps and many other changing conditions. PolyPad retrofit Tactile pads have: • Overall size 400x400mm • A stud protrution height of 5mm for the blister tile and 6mm for the courdaroy tile to ensure longevity and optimum anti slip • The blister tile comes with a truncated dome with a major diameter of 25mm and a minor diameter of 16mm at 67mm centers • The courdaroy tile comes with a 20mm rib, 8 off at 50mm centers • Blister profiles are available in square and offset patterns. LUMINANCE CONTRAST In accordance with the Australian Standards, a minimum luminance contrast of 30% must be provided between the tactile indicator pad and the surrounding substrate.
