Application For use in CT and PET Scanner rooms for patient viewing during
scanning procedures.
Description A lead-lined timber frame window incorporating X-ray protective lead
glass.
Dimensions Generally speaking, the size of viewing windows will depend on the
standard dimensions of lead glass.
Heights are available to suit structural openings of 900 and 1100mm.
Widths are available to suit openings upto 2100mm.
Shielding Available in Lead-equivalents: 1.5mm
2.0mm
2.5mm
3.0mm
Finish Most timber finishes are available. Hardwoods are generally sealed to
receive top coats on site by others. Softwood frames are supplied
pre-primed.
Installation Fitting can be undertaken by any competent craftsman. However, care
should be taken when handling Lead-glass which is very heavy.
Envirotect offer a fitting service if required.
Accessories All windows include for one set of shielded and one set of normal
architraves.
Lead glass cleaner is also available.
