Chevrolet Corvette C7 Side Rocker Installation Manual
Components List:
2 x Side Rocker Extensions
10 x short oval head screws
4 x M6 x 20mm bolt
4 x M6 nut
8 x M6 washer
Approximate Installation Time:
1 Hours
Installation Procedures:
1.
Remove 2 bolts from the bottom of
the front fender, just ahead of the
door.
2.
Remove 2 bolts from the bottom
just behind the door.
3.
Remove 1 bolt in the rear wheel
well just ahead of the rear tire, then
place the side rocker extension
under the side body panel.
4.
Make sure the side rocker edge sits
nicely align with the bodyline, then
use a clamp to secure the piece
temporary in place.
5.
Place all 4 factory bolts that you
just removed back to the side rocker
extension, all 4 pre-drill holes on
the side rocker extension should
match to the factory location, if not,
try to adjust the side rocker
extension before next step.
6.
Once its confirmed all 4 factory
bolts aligned and matched with side
rocker extension to the body panel,
now you can start drilling rest of 7
mounting holes with 1/8” drill bit.
7.
Installing 5 short oval head black
screws starting from front of the
rocker extension. After all 5 screws
are secured onto the car, it should
leave you with 2 more pre-drill
holes without screw.
8.
Use 6mm drill bit to open up last
two holes for M6 bolts and nuts
install.
9.
Installing 2 x M6 bolts, washers
and nuts to the last two hole
locations.
10.
Double check all the supplied
screws, factory bolts are secured in
place on the side rocker extension.
Repeat steps to other side.
Installation is now complete!
