Purpose
Persons credited with this unit standard are able to: prepare to
fabricate and/or repair aeronautical components using turning
machines; prepare turning machines and plan sequence; turn
aeronautical components; prepare aeronautical components for
use; and complete finishing activities.

All tasks are to be carried out in accordance with the procedures of the enterprise
undertaking the work. Enterprise procedures also include the applicable procedures found

Inspections are obtained in accordance with enterprise procedures.

5.1
Completion activities specific to the task and work area are carried out in
accordance with enterprise procedures.
