Proposed changes to ANCS Governing Board By-­‐Laws Article III, Section 3 Additions in italics and deletions in strikethrough The Board shall consist of at least seven (7) and no more than thirteen
(13) voting members, which number shall be fixed from time to time by the
Board.
The membership of the Board will include at least five (5) consist of a
simple majority of parents or guardians of current and/or alumni students,
including at least one (1) parent/guardian of a current elementary campus
student and one (1) parent/guardian of a current middle campus student.
Members shall be natural persons who are 18 years of age or older and
must be residents of the State of Georgia. Regularly elected Board
member terms are for up to three years and begin July 1 of the year in
which they were appointed.
