Temperature control
A clear, distinct display characterises the temperature
controller of the HB 6000. The language-independent
display of the control panel uses LEDs and relevant codes
for user-friendly machine control. Operating the temperature controller is intuitive. A weekly timer and temperature
reduction to preserve the adhesives is integrated.
Piston pump
The horizontal installation of the double-action piston
pump directly to the tank bottom guarantees that the
pump is heated. Two different pump sizes with alternatively 30 kg/h or 70kg/h are available. The adhesive
pressure can be set from 7 - 82 bar by varying the
air pressure (ratio 1:14).

The HB 6000 series hot melt adhesive application units
with piston pump are characterized by high performance,
are easy to handle and have comprehensive standard
equipment. Numerous options fulfil all requirements
regarding integration in modern packaging systems,
but they are also excellently suited as individual
solutions. The 4/8/16 litre tank sizes and up to 6 hose
connections makes it easy to adapt the system to the
respective requirements. Heatable hoses, application
heads and hand-operated pistols from other well known
manufacturers can be connected to the application units.
Thanks to compact dimensions and good tank
accessibility, the HB 6000 can easily replace existing
systems.
Pressure compensation
The unique compensating valve largely reduces the pressure loss at the change-over point of the piston pump and
prevents irregularities in the application pattern.
Automatic pressure relief
If the compressed air supply is interrupted (system is
turned off or emergency-stop), the adhesive in the hose
is automatically conveyed back to the tank. This conserves
the heatable hose and increases safety when changing
the hose or application head.
Adhesive Systems
Filter cartridges
To prevent contamination to the application heads, the
hot melt adhesive is pre-filtered in the tank and cleaned
in the distribution unit by a filter cartridge (100 mesh).
The hot melt adhesives are filtered from the inside out
so that the pollutants remain in the filter cartridge.

of burnt residues is possible
because of the interior PTFE
coating of the tank.
