Dear faculty members, scholars and researchers!
Department of social sciences is going to release a research Journal “PRAGTI” (ISSN 23496878). In this context research papers, book reviews, case studies are invited from faculties in
social sciences. The vision of this journal is to bring academia to platform where their novel,
original and qualitative research work could be published. Its aim is to encourage scholars to
bring out quality work in the field of History, Political Science, Philosophy, Public
Administration and Sociology.
With pleasure you are invited to send a research paper based on the
original research work which either should bring new facts to light or give the new interpretation
of the known facts. The received research paper would be sent to the referee for evaluation. The
suggestions of the referee shall be incorporated in the research paper by the author before the
publication.

Please send Two hard copies and one C.D also.
FEES
 Journal can be subscribed at annual charges of Rs. 250 with Demand draft in favor of
Principal, Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala.


OTHER GUIDELINES
All research papers received for publication in the journal will be reviewed. The decision
of the editorial board would be final.
A declaration by the authors starting that research paper is their original work and has
neither been published nor has been submitted for publication elsewhere should
accompany the paper.


The first page should include the following:
 The title of the article
 Name of the author
 Designation and the name of the educational institution where employed
 Complete address and contact number for communication
 The author should provide complete references and foot notes
The articles published in the journal will be the property of the college and it shall not be
published in full or in part without the written permission from the college.
