Street Connectivity Cabinet
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sterlite® street connectivity cabinets are specifically designed for FTTx applications (in access network) for the housing of passive optical
splitters in a variety of sizes with output fiber capacities up to 576 ports. They are supplied with pre-terminated input and output tail cables to
the internal patch panel for fast initial field installation as a customized solution. The cabinets are designed for efficient use of space, housing
the optical splices, splitters, patch panel, connector parking bay and cable connections. Cable management within the cabinet ensures
minimum bend radius. Unassigned splitters output pigtails are stored and managed in a convenient parking bay. A subscriber management
table is conveniently mounted within the cabinet doors for recording cross connections. Hubs are designed for operation in a variety of
climatic conditions for pedestal mounting.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
The street cabinet features a unique single door design. The patch panels can be arranged on a rotating/ hinge type/sliding type
arrangement. These cabinets come with pre-terminated inlet & outlet cable (as per customer specification).
PRODUCT BENEFITS
The street cabinet offers easy-to-install fiber management. Patch panels are placed in such a manner hence there will be complete isolation
from the outer casing. This unique feature supports fast replacement of outer casing in case of any damage to the outer shell; while the
network will remain live all the time. The cabinets are available in metallic & non-metallic material (customized) pre-treated and painted with
enamel or powder coated top to ensure corrosion resistance. There is top and bottom cable entry facility for easy cable installation. All the
Sterlite cabinets come with standard three point contact lock type arrangement.
