Kuwait – Az-Zour North 2 IWPP
Request for Qualification – Addendum #1
The State of Kuwait through the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (“KAPP”) in collaboration
with the Ministry of Electricity and Water of the State of Kuwait refers to the announcement dated 08
February 2015 in connection with the qualification of companies/consortia in respect of the tender for
the development, design, engineering, construction, ownership, operation, maintenance and transfer
of the Az-Zour North 2 IWPP project, a power and desalination plant with a net capacity of at least
1,500 MW of power and at least 102 MIGD of desalinated water (the “Project”).
The State of Kuwait through KAPP informs all interested companies/consortia of the following:
1 – Companies/consortia that have purchased the Request for Qualification package for the Project
may submit requests for clarification in connection with the Request for Qualification package to
KAPP by e-mail to the following e-mail address azn2@ptb.gov.kw.
2 - Any requests for clarifications must be submitted no later than Sunday 08 March 2015. KAPP
reserve the right not to respond to requests for clarification after such date.
This Addendum #1 forms part of the Request for Qualification package for the Project.
This announcement shall not commit, nor bind KAPP whatsoever in having to proceed to the
next stage or award a contract. KAPP reserves the complete right to, at any time, disregard all
responses and terminate the competitive selection process and proceed with the Project in
some other manner or not at all, with no liability whatsoever.
