Member Secretary (actg), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) DR.DINESH KUMAR PALIWAL He earned his doctorate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India in Polymer and Fiber Technology on University Grants Commission’s Fellowship and has published 8 research papers, 3 review articles on Polymer & Fibers in international journals of repute and contributed 6 articles in journals / chapters in books including 4 publications papers in the discipline of Education. His paper ‘Globalization of Indian Education’ has received wide attention. Other researchers have extensively cited his research papers. He started his career as researcher in the field of industrial organic chemistry. He had been teaching Chemistry in a college affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India. He joined Government of India as Assistant Educational Adviser in 1992 and served on this position till 1997 before proceeding on a diplomatic assignment as Consul (Education) in Consulate General of India, New York, where he retrieved two ancient sculptures worth hundreds of Thousands of dollars stolen from India and displayed in Metropolitan Museum and Asia Society. He assumed the charge of the post of Deputy Educational Adviser in the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the year 2002.
