Optical Isolator-Fiber Pigtail Version
WL Photonics's fiber pigtail broadband polarization-insensitive (FBPI-series) optical isolators are built on a 45⁰ Faraday rotator integrating with a 45⁰ crystal quartz rotator
to produce a combined 90⁰ rotation through the isolator. The wavelength dependences of the two rotator materials work against each other to achieve a broadband
operation with a flat top isolation profile. These isolators are well-suited for the applications with wideband light sources such as OCT. Besides FBSI-series isolators, WL
Photonics also provides various other TGG-based optical isolators and Faraday rotators over 500-1080nm, please contact WL photonics sales for detail information if

Ordering Information of Part Number: FBPI-Center Wavelength-Fiber Type-Cable Diameter-Length-Connector Type
Center Wavelength : in nanometer such as 840 for λc=840nm and 1060 for λc=1060nm.
Fiber Type : SM for standard single mode fiber and PM for Panda polarization maintaining fiber.
Cable Diameter : in millimeter such as 0.9 and 3.0 for 900µm and 3.0mm OD cable diameter respectively.
Length : in meter for pigtail length such 1.5 is for 1.5m long pigtail (1M is standard length here).
Connector Type : various type connectors as specified such as FC/APC, SC/UPC, LU/UPC and 00 for bare fiber ends.
