With the end of autumn approaching, our thoughts turn to Christmas, and you will find a preview of seasonal events taking place at school for your diary in this newsletter. On a personal note, I will be handing over the rein(deer)s to Ms Estlea for a short time, while I spend some time with new baby – due this Wednesday! I will of course be in touch with everyone here at school and no doubt have some time during the long nights ahead to check my emails! School Council Elections Results Year Six: Year Five: Year Four: Year Three: Year Two: Katie Cossey and Isobel Lever Angad Chopra and Niamh Milligan Leila Adams and Saumya Singh Matthew Abbs and Bailey Philpot Barnaby Macdonald and Claudia Armstrong After a week of campaigning and reading of manifestos, the whole school went to the ballot box just before half term for this year’s school council elections. The results were announced by Ms Estlea in an assembly attended by our local parliamentary representative, The Right Honourable Clive Lewis MP (Norwich South). Mr Lewis reminded us about the importance of the democratic process. He then opened our first council meeting and signed the children’s certificates. Mr Lewis was very kind to also invite us to visit the Palace of Westminster later on in the year.
