TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Hung Hom
Notice is hereby given that in connection with the construction of Kwun Tong
Line Extension, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements in Hung
Hom will be implemented from 22 to 26 August 2016:
(I) Temporary Traffic Arrangement
(a) Whampoa Garden Public Transport Interchange will be temporarily closed;
and
(b) All vehicles except franchised buses will be temporarily banned from
making left turn movement from Tak On Street (eastbound) onto Shung
King Street (northbound).
(II) Temporary Public Transport Arrangements
During the above period, the following temporary bus diversions and bus stop
relocations will be implemented:

Actual implementation of the traffic arrangement and traffic control will be made
by the police depending on the traffic condition in the area. Appropriate traffic signs
will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists should exercise tolerance and
patience in case of traffic congestion, and observe the instructions given by the police.
The bus companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary
arrangement.
