Application Package (NYS PSC SIR)
Complete Application Package consists of:
1. Letter of Authorization
2. Signed Standardized Contract (Appendix A)
3. Signed Standardized Application (Appendix B or C)
4. $350 Application fee
– (N/A for ≤ 50kW, >50kW returned unless applied to other costs)
5. Three line diagram for the system
6. Copy of the manufacturer’s data sheet for the equipment
7. Copy of the verification test procedure
8. Completed Application Form G
– Net Metering, Standby Service and/or Buy-Back Service
– Remote Net Metering (host & satellites)

Con Edison will accept the following documents:

Standard Self-Certification form available from Energy Services representative.
• STEP 6: Final Acceptance

Final Acceptance letter typically within 10 business days of self-certification receipt.

– STEP 5: Applicant Commits to Completion of the Coordinated
Electric System Interconnection Review (CESIR) ($ for study)

STEP 6: Utility Completes the CESIR – 60 business days
STEP 7: Applicant Commits to Utility Construction of Utility’s
System Modification ($ for solution)
• STEP 8: Project Construction
• STEP 9: Applicant’s Facility is Tested in Accordance with SIR

On-site verification testing, no self-certification allowed.
• STEP 10: Interconnection
• STEP 11: Final Acceptance and Cost Reconciliation ($ beyond costs) 45

• If you need a Meter Pan unlocked, indicate why .
• A DOB Electrical Permit with the correct information will be
required for net meter installation.
• Existing (1) + New (1) – Removed (1) = Total (1).
