With the score 0-0 and 15 seconds left in the first half Freshman Athalie Palomo buried the ball into the back of the net off of a cross from Freshman Moe Sais. With 20 minutes left in the second half, Marcus tied it up by scoring off a penalty kick. The Farmers kicked it into high gear; with 5 minutes left Moe Sais intercepted Marcus’s goal kick, dribbled past two defenders and delivered a great ball to the back post. The girls hunkered down and stopped Marcus’s attack to keep the final score 2-1. This is the first time the girls have beaten the Marauders in at least 6 years. Thank you everyone for all of your support.
