Kunal is an Associate Director in the PwC Bangalore Tax practice and has over 12 years
of experience in advising on various indirect tax laws in India in service tax, VAT, trade
compliance , regulatory advisory and representation services.
Kunal is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Bangalore and qualified as a
Chartered Accountant in 2002.
Kunal has been working extensively with various Fortune 500 companies and involved in
delivering advise on indirect tax related issues, including providing litigation support
services, representation services and compliance services.
Kunal has extensive experience in advising clients on the indirect tax implications and
risks involved in the establishment of manufacturing, distribution networks and services
operations. He has also advised companies in restructuring with respect to their
manufacturing activities, including the establishment of SEZ units, availing of indirect tax
holidays and so forth.
Kunal actively works with NASSCOM and is involved in various representations before the
Government on issues faced by the industry.
