REVIEW Windmill Relight Envelope Altitude Airspeed 21000 ft to 15000 ft 300 KIAS to VMO 15000 ft to SL NOTE 1. Windmill airstart efficiency is enhanced by attaining the highest practical airspeed and N2 within the relight envelope. 2. Between 21000 feet and 15000 feet, a minimum of 12% N2 is necessary for a windmill relight. 3. At 15000 feet and below, a minimum of 9% N2 is necessary for a windmill relight. 4. If the maximum N2 cannot be achieved, an approximate 1.5% to 2.5% increase in N2 may be obtained by disconnecting the corresponding IDG using the IDG DISC. Once a disconnect has been performed that IDG cannot be re-connected in flight (2) Affected GEN . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
