Tuition Fee is the same for all programs and citizenship. Double Major and Double Degree students are
subject to an additional $5,250 surcharge.

Mandatory Fees include Comprehensive Fee ($990) & Health Service Fee ($466).

Accompanying Fee is applicable only to following majors/instruments: Bassoon, Cello, Clarinet, Flute,
Horn, Oboe, Tuba, Trombone, Trumpet, Voice, Violin, and Viola.

Health Insurance Fee may be waived if the student has comparable coverage. Waiver form is required by
the end of the first week of each semester. The Insurance Waiver form is updated annually online at

On campus room and board is based on double occupancy housing and the 14 meals per week plus $200
CaseCash plan (most commonly picked in SP16); however, there are other meal plan options available.

Federal Direct Loan origination fee varies depending on loan amount and type borrowed, as applicable.
Average loan fee amount above is based on actual total Direct Loan (including PLUS) fees from 15-16 year
students divided by total borrowers. More info on fees to come in May when posted by the Dept of Education:


1.068% fee for Direct Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) (TBA% for first disb after Oct. 1, 2016)
4.272% fee for Direct PLUS Loans (both parent and graduate) (TBA% for first disb after Oct. 1, 2016)
CIM’s Cost of Attendance is updated annually every March. While we try to keep cost increases to a
minimum, the cost shall be expected to increase somewhat each year.

all undergraduate and graduate programs and both in-state or out-of state residency. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are billed
to all students.
