LEVEL CONTROL RELAYS
Single & Dual Probe
LCP Series Plug-in
LCP Series Level Control Relays are used for single & dual probe level control of conductive
liquids (tap water, sea water, sewage, chemical solutions, coffee, ice cream, etc.) in pump
up or pump down applications. The probes used are typically liquid level inputs that sense a
decrease in resistance between the probes when liquid contacts the sensors. These units
are available with adjustable sensitivity set points to control levels in fluids having an
external resistance. A built-in time delay prevents rapid cycling (Single Probe units only).
Four versions are available:
Controls Level of Conductive
Liquids in Pump Up (Fill) or
Pump Down (Drain)
Applications
Single or Dual Probe
Factory-Fixed Time Delay of 160 Seconds Prevents Rapid
Cycling (Single Probe only)
4.7K - 100K & 1K - 250K
Adjustable Sensitivity Ranges
Single Probe:
Pump Up (Fill): When the liquid level falls below the probe, a fixed time delay begins. At
the end of the time delay, the output relay & LED energize and remain energized until the
liquid level rises & touches the probe. The output relay & LED de-energize and remain
de-energized until the liquid level falls below the probe
Pump Down (Drain): When the liquid level rises & touches the probe, a fixed time delay
begins. At the end of the time delay, the output relay & LED energize and remain
energized until the liquid level falls below the probe level. The output relay & LED deenergize and remain de-energized until the liquid level rises & touches the probe.
Dual Probe:
Pump Up (Fill): When the liquid level falls below the low level probe, the output relay &
LED energize and remain energized until the liquid level rises & touches the high level
probe. The output relay & LED de-energize and remain de-energized until the liquid
level again falls below the low level probe.
Pump Down (Drain): When the liquid level rises & touches the high level probe, the
output relay & LED energize and remain energized until the liquid level falls below the
low level probe. The output relay & LED de-energize and remain de-energized until the
liquid level rises & touches the high level probe.

(Single Probe only) Complete Product Number by adding time delay in one second
increments between 1 & 60, i.e., LCP2A100F2 is a Single Probe Relay, 120V Input
Voltage, 4.7K-100K Sensitivity with a Fixed 2 Second Delay (Dual Probe Relays only
come with a Fixed 50ms time delay and therefore no F suffix is required)
