EXPERIENCE:
Sal has been a Financial Advisor with Principal Financial Group since 1993. As part of the management
team Sal has been responsible for recruiting, mentoring and joint work with many of the representatives at
the Illinois Business Center. Sal has earned Leaders Edge Recognition and the USIS First Class Program.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
Sal is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign where he studied Accounting and
Economics. He currently holds his Series 7, 63 and 65 and is also licensed to sell Life, Health and Long
Term Care. Sal is a qualifying member of MDRT and belongs to the local NAIFA chapter.
INTERESTS:
Sal lives in Chicago with his wife, Jholet and their children Joshua, Samuel Clark, Juliana Lois, Scarlet and
Julian Conner. Sal has served on the Holy Name and Archdiocese of Chicago’s pastoral council, and also
served as a board member for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He is an active member with the
Metropolitan Club of Chicago and had the distinction of serving as one of the founding officers of the
Society of Filipino American Young Professionals. Sal enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing,
basketball, tennis and weight training.
