REVISE Bid Documents Bidder’s Checklist (Page 11) as follows:
Revise Second Sentence of First Paragraph to read: “The first 21 forms listed in RED, below,
must be included as indicated for a bid to be considered a complete, responsive bid.”

REVISE Bid Documents Sample Contract (Page 125) as follows:
Revise Second Paragraph to read: “The Contractor hereby agrees to commence work under this
contract on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to
fully complete the project within (blank) calendar days thereafter and perform the work in
accordance with the specifications. The Contractor further agrees to pay, as liquidated damages,
the sum of $1,000.00 for each calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in Section 7.8 of
the General Provisions of the City of Waco Standard Specifications for Construction book.”

REVISE Specification SS-300 Basic Electrical Requirements, as follows:
300-2.1 CONSTANT CURRENT REGULATORS. Constant current regulators shall be:

a. C001 – Identify Stockpile locations and add instructions for stockpiling
b. C101 – Modify length of demolition of existing access drive
c. C106 – Modify length of replacement and elevations of access drive
d. C400 – Remove requirement for Lime Treated Subgrade to be placed in two lifts.
Remove requirement for HMAC Base Course (P-403) to be placed in two lifts.
Contractor may elect to place HMAC Base Course in two lifts, but minimum lift
thickness is 3”.

CLARIFICATIONS:
a. Lighted runway closure markers will NOT be required for closure of Runway 14-32. A
NOTAM will be issued prior to the start of construction stating the closure of Runway
14-32. All runway lights and NAVAIDs will be out of service during this closure.
b. Lighted runway closure markers will only be required for night time closure of Runway
1-19 during Phase 1B and Phase 2.
c. All sign manufacturer information for panel replacement can be found on plan sheets
E510 and E511.
d. The earthwork calculation methodology is described on Drawing C002, Project Notes,
Demolition and Earthwork Notes, Note 4. Removal and disposal of existing asphalt
pavement is paid for under Item P-101. Excavation, embankment, and disposal of excess
excavation material is paid for under Item P-152. It is the intent of these plans to remove
and dispose of all gravel/base material underneath existing asphalt pavements (paid under
Item P-152). All excess excavation and gravel/base material may be disposed of on
Airport property near the Service Road along Flat Rock Road between Runways 14/32
and 1/19 (see Drawing C001). All excess asphalt pavement material (RAP) may be
disposed of on Airport property near the Service Road along Flat Rock Road between
Runways 14/32 and 1/19 (see Drawing C001) (separate stockpile from excavation and
base). Refer to Specifications P-101 and P-152 for gradation of disposed material.
