 Sales Support Representative POSITION DESCRIPTION The Sales Support Representative is a critical support role that will assist salespeople with creating and sending sales proposals/contracts, processing sales orders, working closely with project management, and interacting with existing and new customers. The Sales Support Representative is considered an integral part of the sales department and is expected to support salespeople in managing opportunities through the sales process, assisting the quota‐
bearing sales staff to generate profitable revenue. The successful person in this role is expected to manage multiple priorities, have a high level of attention to detail, follow a process, interact with other functions within SunLink including Engineering, Operations, and Accounting, to manage project issues to completion. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who possesses a positive can do attitude, a high degree of attention to detail, professionalism, and drive in order to undertake the wide latitude of responsibilities inherent with a rapidly growing company. The Sales Support Representative will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES  Handle internal sales process management to support salespeople with sales prospects and existing customers.  Support individual salespeople by generating solar sales proposals on a regular basis to support for a multitude of prospects and customers.  Consistently and accurately input data into CRM system (SugarCRM); assist with quoting in ERP system (Epicor) and manage multiple project priorities in the project prioritization system (Pivotal Tracker); processing orders directly and with the quota bearing sales team to ensure accurate orders.  Adhere and work within the confines of the defined sales procedures and processes.  Provide excellent customer service while fulfilling the overall needs of the client, salesperson, and company SunLink Corporation e: info@sunlink.com v: 415.925.9650 f: 415.925.9636 1010 B St. #400, San Rafael, CA 94901 sunlink.com COMPETENCIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:  Communications ‐ Expresses ideas and thoughts verbally. A.) or equivalent from two‐year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating a high level of attention to detail. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be fluent in MS Office applications; sugarCRM, Epicor ERP and AutoCAD experience a plus. Other Qualifications •

Fluent in MS Office applications required; experience with sugarCRM, AutoCAD, and ERP applications preferred. •
Solar industry experience is a plus. •
