The Komyo Kitagawa Gas Detector Tube System is a cost-effective spot gas detector sampling system, offering over 300 gas detector tubes from Ammonia to Xylene. Manufactured by u Accurate Reading in minutes u Portable, Safe, Easy to use u No Power Supply or Calibration Required u Low Cost Analysis Gas Detector System With over 50 years gas detection experience, the Kitagawa System re-defines gas detection by maximising accuracy, operation, safety and efficiency. Whenever - with no chemical Kitagawa model AP-20 reagents to prepare or warm up time - it includes pump and standard accessories is ready for immediate use. Wherever - light weight and comprising: u carrying case u service kit u operating instructions compact , Kitagawa’s system is easy to carry and operate in virtually any situation. Whoever - the simple and intuitive system design ensures easy straight forward operation - all personnel can operate it with ease. Speedy - an accurate reading can be obtained within minutes and multiple sample points can be tested quickly and efficiently. Safety - as no electricity or heat is required, tests can be taken without risk of explosion, even in the most flammable atmospheres. Certified in conformity with the European standard EN1231 Gas Detector Tubes Kitagawa Gas Detector Tubes The tubes are filled with an absorbant material and chemical reagent which, when in the presence of the target gas, produces a colour stain along the tube. A measurement scale is printed along on the tube to enable the user to easily match the length of the colour stain to concentration of the gas present. Applications are wide ranging and include health and safety, air pollution, flue gas monitoring and indoor air quality. Industries utilising the Kitagawa tube system include: Oil & Gas Petrochemical Marine Environmental Steel Engineering Mining Acriculture The Kitagawa system is also mutli-functional and can be used for measuring disolved substances in solutions, compressed breathing air testing and even blood screening in criminal investigations. Extra apparatus for the AP-20 pump offers remote testing in confined spaces and as no electricity is required, there is no added risk of explosion. The full list of tubes for gases that can measured can be downloaded from our website at www.et.co.uk It’s as easy as 1-2-3 1 Conect the detector tube to the pump 2 Pull handle of the pump to take sample of gas 3 Read off printed scale on tube to establish gas concentration Inorganic Gas/Organic Gas Qualitative Detector Tubes The qualitative-analysis-detector tube system is composed of only two kinds of gas detector tubes which contain different reagents at multiple sections in the tubes. Only these tubes are able to detect various kinds of gases. Although the main purpose of this system is qualitative analysis, simple quantitative analysis of the gases is also possible. Inorganic Gas Qualitative Detector Tubes (Tube No. 131) There are 12 inorganic gases including NH3, H2S & CI2 that can be detected. Please refer to the Kitagawa catalogue for the full list. Organic Gas Qualitative Detector Tubes (Tube No. 186B) There are over 40 organic gases including Benzene, Butadiene, Acetone that can be detected, please see the Kitagawa catalogue for the full list. Model SFH -40 Hot-Air Probe Where a hot sample is measured i.e emission gas from a flue/stack or engine exhaust, this 40cm long probe is available.
