CAUTION: Do not allow persons to operate or assemble this light until they have read
this manual and have developed a thorough understanding of how the lightbar works.
WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction
manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. It must be
understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this
product, but must be supplied by the operator.

IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Proper installation of this product requires the installer to have a good understanding of
automotive electronics, systems and procedures.
• If mounting this product requires drilling holes, the installer MUST be sure that no vehicle
components or other vital parts could be damaged by the drilling process. Check both sides of the
mounting surface before drilling begins. Also de-burr any holes and remove any metal shards or
remnants. Install grommets into all wire passage holes.
•
If this manual states that this product may be mounted with suction cups, magnets, tape or
Velcro®, clean the mounting surface and dry thoroughly.
•
Do not install this product or route any wires in the deployment area of your air bag. Equipment
mounted or located in the air bag deployment area will damage or reduce the effectiveness of the
air bag, or become a projectile that could cause serious personal injury or death. Refer to your
vehicle owner’s manual for the air bag deployment area. The User/Installer assumes full
responsibility to determine proper mounting location, base on providing ultimate safety to all
passengers inside the vehicle.
•
For this product to operate at optimum efficiency, a good electrical connection to chassis ground
must be made.
•
If this product uses a remote device to activate or control this product, make sure that this control
is located in an area that allows both the vehicle and the control to be operated safely in any
driving condition.
•

Do not attempt to activate or control this device in a hazardous driving situation.
Do not stare directly strobe light(s), halogen light(s), high-intensity LEDs or a combination of these
lights. Momentary blindness and/or eye damage could result.
•
Use only soap and water to clean the outer lens. Use of other chemicals could result in premature
lens cracking (crazing) and discoloration. Lenses in this condition have significantly reduced
effectiveness and should be replaced immediately. Inspect and operate this product regularly to
confirm its proper operation and mounting condition. Do not use a pressure washer to clean this
product.

HALOGEN LIGHTBAR USE AND CARE
•
Recommended to only plug 12V plug into 12V power ports as cigarette outlets can become
contaminated and not create a good connection.
•
Do not modify the lightbar in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function
and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which
the lightbar was designed.
•
Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the lightbar. Broken parts will
affect the lightbar operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
•
Store idle lightbar. When lightbar is not in use, store it in a secure place out of the reach of
children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.

•
Do not wipe the lens surface with an abrasive cloth and/or harsh chemical to avoid defacing the
lens’ sclerotic layer. Take care of lens surface when installing, maintaining and transporting to
avoid any damage to the lens.
•
Pay attention to the lightbar position, making sure the lightbar is positioned correctly on the
vehicle to avoid the lightbar from sliding off of vehicle roof.
Installing Lightbar
The magnetic beacon should be positioned on the vehicle’s roof where the magnets will safely secure
the lightbar. Before affixing the lightbar to the roof, be sure the surface is clean and clear of dirt,
grease and debris. If you need to move the lightbar, hold one side securely, then lift the other side of
the lightbar from the room and move; repeat procedure to move the other side.
Plug the 12V DC plug into the 12V power port of vehicle, making sure you have a good connection.
Turn the switch located on the cord to ON and make sure the beacon is working properly.
MAINTENANCE
•
Maintain your lightbar. It is recommended that the general condition of any lightbar be examined
before it is used. Keep your lightbar in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair
and maintenance. Have necessary repairs made by qualified service personnel.
•
Clean the surface of lightbar lens frequently to keep its brightness. Clean up the dust on the
lightbar to prevent its rustiness
•
When any malfunction occurs, stop using and repair it immediately to avoid enlarging any
malfunction
