 Princeton Alliance Church 20 Schalks Crossing Road Plainsboro, NJ 08536 jobs@princetonalliance.org 2016 Summer Internship Overview Our summer internship program is designed for college students (ages 18–22) from Princeton Alliance Church who are interested in pursuing ministry vocationally, bi-­‐vocationally or as a significant volunteer. Internships are 10-­‐week paid positions that require 30 hours per week of ministry involvement. Our leadership team will invest in your personal, spiritual and ministry development throughout the summer, and you will receive hands-­‐on ministry experience. Although you can choose to apply to more than one of the ministry areas listed below, you are encouraged to apply where you feel you are most gifted and passionate. !

Children's Ministries Communications Global Outreach (missions) He Cares We Care (benevolence) Video Ministry Worship Ministry Ministry Descriptions Following are brief descriptions of each internship area. A more detailed description will be provided by the ministry leader should you be invited to interview. 1. Children’s Ministries: Do you love working with children? Are you interested in investing in the development of spiritually healthy families? Are you gifted in music or drama? If yes, then consider joining our Children’s Ministries Team this summer. Learn the ins and outs of ministering to the youngest members of our church th
family. Assist with activities for our Promised Land (Infant–Pre-­‐K) and Crosswalk (K–5 grade) programs as well as Family Time Live! and our annual Summer Camp. To apply, email your interest to jobs@princetonalliance.org. 2.
Communications: One of the most effective ways of reaching our community for Christ is through creative communication. Graphic design, web development, social media and written communication are among the many ways that PAC shares the Good News of Jesus with the world around us. Gain hands-­‐on experience in these areas and more as you explore how a degree in Communications (or related fields) can be used in a ministry setting. Global Outreach: Interested in missions or in becoming a missionary? Spend this summer with us. You’ll have an opportunity to serve on a mission team and help PAC teams serving around the world prepare for ministry. You’ll gain experience coordinating a mission trip, connecting with leaders and missionaries, and planning future mission events at PAC. He Cares We Care: As the benevolence ministry of PAC, He Cares We Care actively invests in the lives of disadvantaged families in our community through our food pantry, Cars Ministry, temporary financial assistance and life skills training. As part of this internship, you will be the hands and feet of Jesus to those struggling to find hope. Compassion, love and discernment are spiritual gifts that would be important for you to display as you serve those in need. To apply, email your interest to jobs@princetonalliance.org. 5.
Video Ministry: If you’re interested in filmmaking and video production, an internship in the Video Ministry may be for you. From visualizing video concepts to scripting, shooting, editing and post-­‐production, this internship involves rolling up your sleeves and gaining valuable, first-­‐hand experience. Worship Ministry: Want to learn more about worship—from designing an engaging worship experience for the church family to understanding how video, lighting and sound can be used to enhance a service? Then an internship in Worship Ministry may be for you. So much more than just shadowing ministry leaders, you’ll gain a 360-­‐degree perspective on all that’s involved in contemporary worship by rolling up your sleeves and being a part of the creative process. Track record for reliability Development In concert with his or her daily responsibilities, PAC interns participate in weekly activities such as staff prayer and a staff meeting that includes a book study facilitated by PAC’s Lead Pastor. Additionally, all interns meet together weekly as a cohort for further discipleship.
