EQUIP PROJECT MANAGER

Church Offices, St Mary’s Church Centre
EXPECTED HOURS
24 hours a week approximately, depending on intern’s availability
DAY OFF
One full 24 hour period to be taken off per week, day to be decided
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation will be provided if required but food and personal
living costs must be met by the intern
Equipping you to grow in your walk with God and minister effectively across the whole church. As part of a
dynamic team, you will develop personally and professionally through training, gaining experience through a
varied and broad role in our church plant at Sale West.
This internship is ideal for those considering full time Christian ministry – many of our previous interns have
gone on to ordination or missions work.









Gain experience of working in an evangelical church community on an Urban Priority Estate
To be part of Sale West Community Church ministry team
To take part in a broad range of ministries, based on the intern’s gifts and interests, such as:
o Children and youth work
o Lead assemblies at local primary schools
o A leading role at Sunday morning services and church events
o Opportunity to learn to preach for those interested
o A key role in our midweek Small Group network
o Visiting church members in their homes
o Prayer visiting across the estate
To link with wider community activities like the Credit Union, Foodbank and CAP Money
Management courses
To be part of our 7pm congregation and of a small group for your own growth
To attend the Tuesday Morning Staff devotion time and be part of the wider staff team
To attend regular ministry project meetings and Equip team gatherings
Receive personal support and discipleship from a dedicated mentor
Join with staff team for relevant conferences and training opportunities
