The Heat Reflective Series is manufactured using space
aged reflective technology. The shields are coated with a
mirrorlike surface of pure 24K Gold to reflect the radiant
energy away for the user’s face. Competitive green shields
and expensive gold film products easily become damaged
at much lower temperatures. Using the Oberon
faceshields, you will use fewer shields, saving you money.
The user’s face will feel cooler, more comfortable and he
will be more productive.

These faceshields provide unique protection and comfort.
The Cobalt II Blue faceshield is used in Steel Mills to
filter the yellow Sodium Flare. The Didymium II Blue is
used in Glassworking.
The Arc Shield from Oberon is ideal for low level electrical
hazards*. Manufactured with Oberon’s ARC-X™
material, the Arc Shield provides protection up to about
8cal/cm². Oberon also has a full line of hoods and clothing
for applications where the hazard is greater.

Many industrial applications have the potential to emit
large quantities of UV energy. The Clear UV Protective
Series faceshields provides 100% protection* from UV
energy from 200nm to 405nm.
The Oberon General Purpose series provides the safety and
quality you would expect from an Oberon shield without
the premium features you do not need.

Resistant Faceshield
Scratch Resistant Faceshield
Paints and Chemicals wipe clean.
Longer Life. Greater Savings.
The Chemical and Paint Resistant Faceshield is
manufactured with the Oberon Silicote™-6 coating,
which acts as a barrier, protecting the outer surface from
damage. Acids, bases, and solvents (except Hydrofluoric
acid) wipe off without damaging the shield. A shield with
paint spatter cleans with paint thinner, leaving the shield
clear. Do not try this with another manufacturer’s shield.
The SR Series faceshields are protected by the Silicote™-1
Scratch Resistant coating. The coating is a glass-like coating
that resists damage even in gritty, abrasive environments.
The faceshield will last 3 to 5 times longer than a standard
shield. You will need to discard fewer shields because of
hazing, saving you money.

The Welding Series from Oberon offers a large 8” x 14”
window, much larger than the standard welding helmet’s
2” x 4¼” plate.
Weighing just 8 ounces for the Shade 5 Shield and 16
ounces for the Arc Welder, they offer a welcome
alternative to those heavy helmets*.
The Shade 5 Green Gas Welder provides the UV and IR
protection for Acetylene Gas cutting, welding and
brazing.
For MIG and TIG welding, the MAX PLUS™ provides
increased UV and IR protection required for these
applications. The MAX PLUS is available in two models:
a Shade 9-10 and a Shade 11-12 Model.
