Are you a Manufacturer Representative? Manufacturer Representatives, as recognized by NAMM, are Independent Sales agents that sell a manufacturer’s products to wholesale and retail companies. Usually, these Representatives are signed to a contract as an official agent of the Manufacturer in order to allow them to sell the products in a defined area or territory for a commission. These products are then generally ordered directly from the manufacturer and then delivered to the wholesaler or retailer. Do you qualify as a Manufacturer Representative? NAMM requires all of the following documentation in order to qualify: • A legal document showing your company name (Business License, Articles of Incorporation, LLC paperwork, Tax Permit, or similar) • A signed Rep Agreement or Contract with active NAMM Member (Both parties must have signed) • A line card showing the lines/brands you currently represent (Website line cards are acceptable) If you believe you qualify as a Rep and would like to apply for this type of membership, please email us for the application at info@namm.org or call us at 760-438-8001.
