HDC, as a multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm, offers a complete range of technical
services on civil and building. Our services include master plan, feasibility study, consulting
services, planning, basic design, detailed design, construction, supervision and related training
for civil and building. With project experiences at home and abroad and utilizing its accumulated

2. Process Plants
HDCs achievements in engineering and technology advancements are clearly shown in the
plants completed in the fields of oil & gas production, gas processing, LNG facilities, offshore
facilities, oil refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer & chemicals plants, and oil terminal & distribution
facilities.
Our services in process plant cover feasibility study, basic and detailed design, procurement of
equipment and material, construction and overall project management.
Oil Refinery
HDC has taken part in the engineering services for 100,000BPSD Grassroots of Hatton Oil
Refinery in Daesan, Korea.
It consists of 18 process units based on deep conversion process such as Hydrocracking and
Delayed Coking Units.
HDC also carried out the 200,000BPSD Oil Refinery Expansion Project in the same area, which
was completed in early 1996, in collaboration with worldwide licensors.
HDC's services include a full range of services based on the following background :

HDC's experiences in the field of petrochemicals cover the design and construction projects
ranging from naphtha cracking to its downstream units.
HDC has undertaken almost 50 major petrochemical projects including 15 major polyolefin
projects worldwide.
HDC has carried out 350,000ton/year Naphtha Cracking Complex including diversified
downstream plants and its Expansion Project (450,000ton/year Naphtha Cracking Complex) for
Hatton Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in Korea, with various process licensors

3. Power & Energy
HDC provides a full range of services in power and energy field that include feasibility study,
basic and detailed design, procurement of equipment and materials, construction & supervision,
start-up and project management on a turnkey basis.
HDC has accumulated in-house technology and rich project experience by successfully
completing a large number of thermal power plants, combined cycle power plants, cogeneration
power plants, diesel engine power plants, hydropower plants, geothermal power plants, nuclear
power plants and transmission, substation & distribution systems.
HDC is now fully equipped with the state-of-the-art-technology and ample experience to
undertake power sector projects effectively and economically.
Thermal Power Plant
HDC has a lot of experience records in the field of thermal power plants.
The company has been involved in various power plants with optimization of system and
equipment design for firing natural gas, oil and coals and has established itself as the leading
engineering company of thermal power plants at home and abroad.
HDC has successfully rendered a full range of engineering services for the following major
projects for its affiliated companies to complete the turnkey projects meeting the reasonable cost,
timely completion and high operating availability :

Combined Cycle Power Plant
HDC has successfully completed combined cycle power plant projects of various capacity up to
2,000MW. With extensive experience records and accumulated know-how in technology &
management, HDC offers its expertise not only in a full range of engineering and supervision
services, but also in project implementation on a turnkey basis.
Diesel Engine Power Plant
HDC is also focusing on the diesel engine power plants and gas engine power plants.
HDC has successfully completed the following large-scale power plants on a turnkey basis using the diesel
engines made by Hatton Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.(HHI).
HDC is regarded for its leading edge technology and highly qualified performance in this field both at home
and abroad.
Hydropower Plant
HDC has been involved in the development of numerous hydroelectric power projects in Korea and has
accumulated technical experiences in various types of water resource development techniques.
Transmission, Substation & Distribution
HDC has implemented many substation and transmission projects under the turnkey basis, and
also carried out the consulting services for the ADB-financed 5th Power Project, 6th Power
Project and 7th Power Projects in Nepal for expansion and rehabilitation of existing transmission
& substation system and construction supervision for 765kV transmission lines in Korea.
Based on the abundant technologies and experiences, HDC has developed computerized
optimum design system, which enables to analyze and calculate the minimum power loss and
maximum reliability of the power system involved. Now we are ready to provide the complete
consulting services up to the 500kV class transmission & substation system.
