Drums and packing material last for two years in dry weather. ·Reseal up the both ends of cable with cab or heat-contracting tubes to prevent water penetrating. 62 Handling, Installation Method & Notice Instructions for Long-term storage 1) Areas where corrosion gas presents ·Sulfur dioxide corrodes materials of cable, and shortens the durability of rubber and plastic. 2) Areas where ammonia gas presents ·When it absorbs an ammonia gas, the insulation resistance is reduced. 3) Areas where various acid presents ·Oxidizing acid such as condensed sulfuric acid, hydrogen chloride hydrochloric acid, and nitrate shortens the durability of rubber or plastic by acidifying them.
