Merit Badge Class Schedule
Summer 2016
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Participants are expected to show respect to the Instructor and other members of the class, participate without being
disruptive, and obey rules or a parent will need to attend the class with them.
A scout must have all of his paperwork and projects completed in order to complete the badge. The cost of registration is for instruction and not for a signature on the card and scouts must have completed all requirements in order
to receive a signature of completion. DO NOT lose or throw away any work! Instructors are only required to keep a
record of completion for one year so these workbooks become your proof of completion if you lose your blue card.
Scouts must check in at the front desk and receive a pass before they will be admitted to class. If your scout is unable to attend a class that he has registered for, you must contact the Fitness Center BEFORE the class is held. Once
the first class has started, there will not be a transfer or credit given. There are no makeup classes.
All classes are subject to change. We will notify you by email of any changes that are made if you have already registered for a class and it is changed. It is your responsibility to make sure we have a current email so we can notify
you.
If a class is CANCELLED your money will remain as a credit for a future class. If a class is RESCHEDULED, you will automatically be transferred to the new class and notified of the new dates and time by email. If a class is FULL, please contact the
Fitness Center to have your son’s name put on a waiting list. Please do not ask to be an exception to be included in a class
as we cannot make exceptions to the class sizes. There are NO MAKE-UP dates for missed classes.
Please bring a pen to each class and a blue card to the last class.
