803/J PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
Housing
• IC-Rated for direct contact with standard or spray-foam thermal insulation. Meets Washington State
Airtight Standard WAC 51-11-05-02 and in accordance with ASTM E283 to reduce energy loss. CCEA
plenum rated for City of Chicago environmental air spaces.
• Accepts all Number Eight Lighting LED Lamp Modules and Trim Assemblies
• All aluminum construction for maximum heat dissipation and corrosion prevention.
• Features cross-hair graphics for precise alignment during rough-in installation.
• Extra large capacity junction box with 1/2” 3/4” 3/8”knock-outs. Junction box is UL listed for through
wire branch circuiting and is accessible from below.
• Extra rigid bar hangers with four lock down points and integrated self tapping fasteners which accommodate wood or metal joists w/ on center spacing of 12”-24”. Bar hangers can be mounted to either sides
or ends of housing depending on installation requirements.
• Lamp Module and Light Engine are serviceable from ceiling opening.

• Fully adjustable lamp module features patented tool-free adjustment mechanism optimized for true 0-45°
vertical and 360° horizontal adjustment. Use for adjustable accent, wall wash, and general lighting
applications.
LED Light Engine
• SD-500 85 CRI/3000K LED. Delivers up to 900 lumens at 14.7 watts.*
• SD-700 85 CRI/3000K LED. Delivers up to 1150 lumens at 20.1 watts.*
• HI-500 95 CRI/3000K LED. 2014 CA Title 24 Compliant. Delivers up to 850 lumens at 14.7watts.*
• HI-700 95 CRI/3000K LED. Delivers up to 1100 lumens at 20.1watts.*
• Industry leading color consistency with guaranteed maximum variation of 1 x 3 SDCM.
• 50,000+ hour lamp life (measured at 70% lumen maintenance).
• Dimming electronic driver with 120v/60Hz input standard. Optional 230v & 277v/60Hz available.
Dimmable to 5% using two-wire low voltage (reverse phase) dimmers. (See dimmer compatibility matrix).
