Regional Groupings in Library Holdings Display
When you display default holdings for WorldCat records while cataloging in the Connexion client or browser or in
Z39.50, if more than 20 libraries hold the item and fewer than 10 of them are in your location, but 10 or more are
in your region, the system shows which region(s) have holdings. Regional groupings display as lists of codes for
states, provinces, and other regions/countries, as shown below.
States
Each state of the U.S.A. (with its two-letter code) is followed by the two-letter codes of states, provinces,
territories, and countries included in the region:
