Quick-n-Easy Turkey Chili
Ingredients












Olive oil 1-1/2 tbsp
93/7 lean ground turkey (or beef) 1-1/3 lbs.
Water 2 cups
Red onion, chopped 1/2 medium
Red bell pepper, chopped 1
Minced garlic 1-1/2 tsp
Diced green chilies 6 tbsp
Crushed tomatoes 28 oz.
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Reduced-sodium black beans 15 oz.
Reduced-sodium dark red kidney
beans 16 oz.
Low-sodium chili seasoning mix 1 packet

Heat a large pan on stove at medium heat.
Add olive oil and let that heat up.
Add lean ground turkey and brown on both sides, being careful not to overcook.
Add remaining ingredients and incorporate everything together, stirring occasionally.
Turn up the heat and bring chili to a boil.
Cover chili, lower heat, and simmer for another 30-35 minutes.
