This is necessary for the installer to level the machine successfully. This document will describe step by step how to do this. Please note that this is only necessary when the floor naturally is not level within a quarter of an inch. 1. To start the leveling procedure we need to create a frame made of wood (i.e. 2 x 4’s). The dimension of this frame depends on the perimeter of the tank you purchased. Z-45 tank is 77” x 77” Z-613 / ZX-613 / ZXA-613 tank is 167” x 83” Z-813 / ZX-813 / ZXA -813 tank is 167” x 108” J – tank is 167” x 83” 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. So make sure your inside dimensions of the frame do match with the size of your tank. Put the frame in the right location on the floor (final layout discussed with Randy Morris) Put shims of according thicknesses in the four corners so you will create one leveled plane for your machine. Line the frame with plastic Create a mortar mix and pour this in the frame on top of the plastic. Then put another layer of plastic on top of the wet mortar mix Now lift the machine and put it on top of the plastic layer in a way that the perimeter of the tank aligns with the frame that contains wet mortar mix The weight of the gantry will squeeze all the excessive mortar mix over the sides of the frame and will be supported by the shims When the mortar mix is dry, you can remove the wooden frame and trim the plastic & mortar mix.
