In this role you will:
•
Design & develop for the manufacture of parts & repairs for aircraft component parts ensuring the
design conforms to regulations.
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for aircraft components using CAD software
Prepare supporting documentation for Transport Canada approvals (PDA, RDA, STC) including
Engineering Reports and Test Plans
Interfacing directly with suppliers, subcontractors, customers & TCCA in support of project
requirements.

An ideal candidate would possess:

Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a recognized University
Previous experience working with TCCA processing Repair Design Approvals (RDA) or Part Design
Approvals (PDA) is an asset
Some knowledge of TCCA regulations and Airworthiness rules
Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering
Knowledge of manufacturing methods relating to aerospace
Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings (including GD&T)
Proficiency in the use of CAD software (2D & 3D), Finite Element Software, and Microsoft Office
Ability to use measurement tools
Familiarity with aerospace materials and alloys (properties and processing)
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, result orientated, team environment
