effort, using quick editing tools.. In addition, it allows employers , graduate
schools and others to review the site on their own time.
How does the Office of Experiential Learning use digital career portfolios?
At the beginning of their internship experience, our students develop a learning contract with their supervisors.
supervisors
This contract is the foundation of their experience. It identifies professional learning objectives, an action plan for
completion, and what original evidence they will provide at the conclusion of their internship to prove they have
accomplished their objectives.
The career portfolio project is assembled over the course of a students’ internship and includes all the
components cited in the learning contract, PLUS reflective pieces. The student also has the freedom and
creativity to choose which additional
onal experiences they want to include in the portfolio, such as work experiences,
organization and athletic involvement, research, publications, awards and honors, photo galleries and more!
