Fall Semester and Winter Vacation (2015-2016)
1. Freshman: Registration on Aug. 19, opening
ceremony on Aug. 20; Military training and
orientation from Aug. 21 to Sept.13.
2. New Graduate Students: Registration on Aug. 25,
opening ceremony on Aug. 26; specialized
education from Aug.31 to Sept. 11.
3. Registration: Graduate students not participating
in social practice should register on Aug.21.
Undergraduate students, as well as the graduate
students participating in social practice, should
register on Sept. 12 and 13.
4. All the students begin taking class from Sept. 14.
5. Mid-Autumn Festival: On Sept. 27.
6. National Day: seven-day holiday from Oct. 1 to
Oct. 7.
7. New Year Holiday: three-day holiday from
2016-1-1 to 2016-1-3
8. Mid-term exam in the 8th week. Final-term exam
in the 17th and 18th week.
9. 2016-1-18 ~ 2016-2-21: Five-week winter
vacation for undergraduate students.
10. 2016-1-21 ~ 2016-2-17: Four-week winter
vacation for teaching and researching faculty,
and graduate students; Faculty arranges turning
on duty (Spring Festival on 2016-2-8).

1. 2016-2-19~2016-2-21:
Registration

undergraduate and graduate students.
2. All the students begin taking class on 2016-2-22.
3. Women`s Day:Half-day holiday for female staff
on 2016-3-8.
4. Tomb-Sweeping Day: Three-day holiday from
2016-4-2 ~ 4.
5. University Anniversary and May-Day Holiday
from on 2016-4-30 ~ 2016-5-4. Faculty should
work on April 23 and April 24.
6. Dragon Boat Festival: Three-day holiday from
2016-6-9 to 2016-6-11.
7. Mid-term exam in the 8th week. Final-term exam
in the 17th and 18th week.
Summer Semester and Summer Vacation (2016)
1. 2016-6-27 ~ 2016-9-11(11weeks): Summer
Semester and summer vacation for undergraduate
students.
2. Graduate students participating in social practice
do this practice from 2016-6-27 ~ 2016-8-7 (6
weeks), and take the vacation from 2016-8-8 to
2016-9-4. (4 weeks)..
