RARE BLUE AMBER
Blue Amber’s main source is the Dominican Republic, but can also be found on the Island
of Sumatra (Indonesia) and is quite rare. *Blue Amber is so called, as it exhibits a distinct
slight blue tone under ultraviolet light.

surface, thus refracting off the actual Amber. Hydrocarbons in the Blue Amber turn the sun's ultraviolet
light into blue light particles, resulting in the famous glow of Blue Amber. This effect is only possible on
Dominican Blue Amber.
