Guide Technique www.termico.be RESULTANT BLACK PROBE FL 100 for electronic thermostat Functional features The resultant black probe FL100 is especially designed for radiation heating. The probe measures the resulting temperature, taking into account the air temperature and the radiation temperature. Hence, radiation is measured, but free contributions such as possible sunshine onto the premises or the heat generated by a production process, as well. Technical characteristics Probe type: Protection level: Dimensions: Fixation: Connection: Operating temperature: Time base in the air: Nominal resistance at 25 °C: B values from 25 °C to 85 °C: NTC sensor IP54 150 mm x 150 mm x 95 mm with 4 screws via screw terminals, 2 non-polarized leads -50 °C to 110 °C 15 sec max. 10 kOhm ± 1% 3430 K ± 1% and 3380 K ± 1% Installation: For optimum effectiveness, the black probe shall be fitted at a person’s height, at ± 1.80 m above floor level, in the area where people and/or surfaces need heating. The probe should not be fitted to a cold surface such as an outside wall or a building structure beam, to avoid affecting the probe functioning response time. The maximum distance between the probe and the thermostat shall not exceed 50 m. The connecting wire shall be with a minimum section of 2.5 mm² per lead and fitted in separate piping.
