White, the true colors are more of a silver background with grey veining.
This marble can be used for kitchen countertops because it is one of the
most dense marbles in the market. Although marble can scratch, etch or
stain when it is installed in a kitchen, if you are willing to keep it sealed
and understand the recommended maintenance, it will be a beautiful
addition to any home. Due to the qualities of the stone, the slabs are
book-matched; meaning slab one and slab two will be cut and polished
to create a mirror image of each other. These are then kept in sequence,
which allows for a consistent flow in pattern. Finally, a mesh backing is
adhered to the back of the stone to ensure safety while handling and
fabricating the slab. As a natural stone product it is recommended that it
be sealed to extend its longevity.
NSF indicates this product conforms to the requirements of NSF/ANSI
Standard 51, thereby meeting the health and sanitation requirements for
materials used in areas in a Splash Zone, effective December 9, 2009.
