II. General Requirements A. This bid is for furnishing and delivering pumps for use at the San Francisco Utilities Commission (SFPUC) Wastewater Enterprise (WWE) Division. B. The Progressive Cavity Bare Pumps and Pump and Base assemblies of this bid will be considered "no-substitute". C. The pumps shall be delivered complete with all components and accessories necessary for safe and efficient operation. A l l products and material shall be shipped complete except where partial disassembly is required by transportation regulations for protection of components. Any additions, deletions or variations from the following specifications must be noted in writing as exceptions. D. A l l bid prices must be submitted on the City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration Purchasing Division bid document form. III. Submittals Successful Bidder shall submit the following: A. Four (4) complete sets of the following documents 1- Drawings and Cut sheets: A l l system component parts showing the part or component, description, part number, and any other relevant data. Installation drawings and system drawings shall be sized 11" x 17" minimum. Submittals shall be made within three (3) weeks from the date the contract is awarded. 2- Operations and Maintenance Manuals: Provide four (4) final, and one (I) electronic service manuals for each model of pump and attached components. Testing A. 11/13/2014 C T . Prior to shipment, all equipment shall be subjected to manufacturer's testing as evidence of meeting the manufacturer's specifications for operations, including leakage and performance tests. One complete set of the manufacturer's certified test results shall be included with operations and maintenance manual. Each pump shall be tested for flow and horsepower for each of the operating points that are specified. A minimum of three (3) points shall be documented to establish the pump curve. A l l tests shali be run in accordance with the American Hydraulic Institute Standards HI Level A . Testing shall also include the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. V. VI. Motor rating and electrical connections shall be checked for compliance to the specifications. The pumps shall run for a minimum of 30 minutes to bring the motor to operating temperature. Horsepower, HP c Differential Pressure, PSI Warranty A. Ali equipment and accessories shall be supplied with a standard twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty from receipt of delivery. B. During the warranty period, if any parts or components fail or are found to be defective, the vendor shall repair or replace defective or unsatisfactory pam or components at no additional cost to the City. Delivery Requirements Manufacturer/Vendor must comply with the following delivery requirements. A. Unit(s) shall be delivered to: Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant 1700 Jerrold Street San Francisco, C A . 94124 Deliveries shall be made on weekdays only, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. D. Two (2) weeks prior to delivery, Vendor/Manufacturer shall schedule a delivery date with SEP Warehouse (415) 920-4727. E. Any deliveries made without prior scheduling will be rejected and rescheduled for another delivery date at Vendor/Manufacturer's expense. F. Partial Deliveries will be accepted. G. City personnel shall be responsible for unloading units. H. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. I. A l l deliveries must include a packing slip that includes the following information: 1. Complete description including manufacturer's name and number. 2. Quantity ordered. 3. Purchase Order number. J. A l l equipment shall be shipped in individual separate timber shipping crates / containers, designed for long-term storage, with all labeling and identification provided on the box. Inspection Upon Delivery A. The City reserves the right to inspect equipment upon delivery. Equipment is subject to rejection, as determined by the City representative, if it is found not meeting specifications as stated herein regardless of the City's acceptance of O & M manuals.
