INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS VH/VAH/VCH Hibay File: 5900461-000.doc Rev. 0 05-11-15 These instructions may not provide directions to cover every variation and detail. To obtain additional information, consult the applicable electrical codes or contact the factory directly for assistance before attempting anything with uncertainty. All wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician. WARNING: To avoid electrical shock, TURN POWER SUPPLY OFF before installing or servicing this unit. NOTE: All “-T” models are supplied with Tri-tap ballast voltage (120 / 277 / 347) and are factory pre-wired and tested to 347Volt. If 120V or 277V is required, open wiring compartment and change voltage lead from ballast. All other models (ex. “-2” for 208 volt) are ordered, tested and supplied with the desired voltage pre-wired. Installing EHS Reflector to Ballast Housing: Install Yoke Bracket** to housing bottom with (4) screws provided through keyhole slots Attach Reflector Straps into outer slots in reflector as shown and rotate up to lock in position (x2) Attach Reflector Straps onto Yoke Bracket with the (2) screws provided and adjust to desired setting ** Note: some models may have yoke factory installed Installing EAS Acrylic Reflector to Ballast Housing: Install Yoke Bracket** to housing bottom with (4) screws provided through keyhole slots Attach Reflector Straps into outer slots in reflector as shown and rotate up to lock in position (x2) Attach Reflector Straps onto Yoke Bracket with the (2) screws provided and adjust to desired setting ** Note: some models may have yoke factory installed KEENE is a Product Group of Canlyte, 455 Dobbie Drive, P.O. Fig 2. Fig 3. Fig 4. Fig 2 Fig 3 Fig 4 Hang ballast housing by cast hook onto suitable rigid mounting mechanism such as eyebolt or power hook. Ensure safety screw on hook is securely tightened to prevent accidental removal. Make electrical connections to power supply in electrical junction box or by securing the (optional) twist lock NEMA rated plug into mating receptacle. If required, remove wire access plate and change the voltage tap from ballast to the required voltage. Tri-tap fixtures (“-T” = 120/277/347 volt) are factory pre-wired and tested to 347 volt. If fixtures were ordered as a specific voltage, ex. “-1” for 120 volt, then this step is not necessary.
