School of Nursing
To apply to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing RN-BSN program you must complete the following steps in the application process:
1. Complete the TTUHSC Merlin Application at the following link: Merlin Application
Access and pay the $40 application fee .
2. Complete the TTUHSC Merlin supplemental application: a. Click "Start Session" on the bottom of Merlin application page b. Complete the other following modules:

Forms
GPA Calculation
Ø Fees and other charges ($40 application fee)
Ø Application Packet Submit Module (payment of the application fee does not mean the application is submitted, be sure to click on the submit button)
3. Mail official transcripts from ALL colleges attended to:

By application close date we require :

A completed and submitted TTUHSC Merlin application & $40 application fee
•
Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended must be mailed to the address noted above. Any transcripts sent to TTUHSC
School of Nursing over a year old must be resent (Foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a credentialing service)
• 2.5 minimum Prerequisite GPA is required for application review
•
2.5 minimum Nursing course(s) GPA is required for application review
• Completion of 52-55 credit hours of general education prerequisite courses
• Completion of 38 or more credit hours of Nursing (ADN) courses
– you may add in any LVN or
EMT courses toward this
• Verification of your RN License in Good
Standing
• Appropriate documentation i.e. TOEFL scores, if an International student
Note : Grade of “C” or better on all prerequisite courses ( In addition to the required prerequisites listed, students receiving a bachelor´s degree from TTUHSC must satisfy the coursework requirements of the TTUHSC Core Curriculum

Important Notice :
Articulation/ Concurrent Agreements are made between the School of Nursing (SON) and community colleges to promote a seamless transition between associate degree graduates and their move to a university. It identifies each school's required coursework so students take all necessary courses

Concurrent Admissions Process : If you are currently taking your A.D.N. program through Collin Community College, Austin

• It is your responsibility to make sure that your application is complete and submitted in the TTUHSC Merlin System.
• Consideration for admission is only given to applicants with complete applications, meaning ALL application materials must be submitted and received by the application deadline.
