The Commend 3 Gang SIP-ES931ACW Intercom is Tamper/Weather resistant and is both attractive in appearance and extremely
durable. Commend SIP Intercom stations can connect directly to the Ethernet (LAN/WAN) via PoE and in this manner can fully
integrate to a compatible SIP Server over the IP-network. The built-in switch with downlink function allows direct connection of
an additional IP-device. The SIP Intercom station provides pre-recorded audio which can be applied in a multi-purpose manner,
such as audible indication of line fault’s, or as call waiting information. A configurable background noise canceller provides a
crystal clear hands free communication in challenging acoustical situations. Furthermore the SIP-ES931ACW is ideally suited
for use at entry ways, truck gates and emergency help points. Programmable onboard output and input contacts can be configured for monitoring and control of various external devices.

Precautions / mounting info
• When opening the stations ESD precautions must be
observed.
• The stations may only be opened by authorized service
engineers.
• Do not expose the station to extreme temperature (below
-20°C or above +70°C / -4°F to +158°F)
• The stations are designed especially for building into American
“3 gang”double deep switch boxes. Box and mounting screws
are not included in the extent of supply.
• For stations to be mounted in outdoor areas, the screws must
be closed with a sealing compound.

Connection diagram
• POE has to be connected to the RJ 45 jack “IP Uplink” (see left).
• Further IP device can be connected to the RJ 45 jack “IP Downlink” (see left), like e.g. an IP camera. But it is also possible to link
up to 20 SIP-ET908A in series via this ethernet interface.
Attention - Use of POE:
If multiple SIP-ET908A are connected in series, then only the 1st
device can be supplied with Power over Ethernet. All other devices
(connected in series) must be supplied separately by an external
power supply unit.
