VHF/FM Handheld Transceiver
The TR610 is a 3W handheld VHF transceiver for tactical radio communications.
This user friendly, channelized transceiver is an excellent personal radio for military and para-military personnel.
The TR610 can be used in extremely harsh environments as the robust die-cast aluminium housing is sealed in order to resist dust, sand, water
and humidity.
Environmental tests are carried out in accordance with MIL-STD-810E.
The TR610 when used with its external power amplifier provides the user with a 50W vehicle capability.

Built-In GPS Receiver
Geographical position received by the radio can be displayed and
also sent to a supervisory radio automatically or on demand.
Selective Call System
Depending on the transceiver variant provided selective
communication between single users or groups of users is possible.
The transceiver has the capability to select up to 81 numbers of
individual calls and to create a maximum of 9 groups, with each
group having a maximum of 9 users. Operation using the selective
call system can be switched on or off by the radio operator.
Short Data Service (SDS)
SDS transmission relies on sending a three digit number which has
been ascribed a particular meaning in the system. The transceiver is
capable of sending up to 256 short messages.
