1 Product Description Deliverables Information required Timing Full Rating A comprehensive study of all aspects of the project that could affect the credit delivery. The entity requesting the Rating has the choice to publish it. The rating is monitored over the life of the project. A full diagnostic report including detailed analysis of all the major risk factors faced by the project. This includes a performance estimate, a detailed analysis of registration risk and a broader view of the relevant technology, sector and region. The rating is approved by the Rating Committee. All of the project documentation (PDD), interaction with the project proponents and a mandatory site visit. 4 – 6 weeks Ratings Assessment A detailed Rating Scan with a specific focus as prescribed by the client. See Rating Scan, but with a greater level of detail on the relevant topics and a special chapter(s) on the topic requested by the client, e.g. a more focussed performance estimate, a detailed analysis of registration risk or a broader view of a technology/sector/region. Specific to the request by the client, but involving more detailed information other than available in the PDD. A site visit may be required or requested. 2 - 3 weeks Ratings Scan A considered initial opinion of a project based on the available information and including interaction with the client. An 8-10 page report discussing all the major risks faced by the project regarding both performance and regulatory issues. This includes an indication of the likely performance of the project and a discussion of the regulatory issues. In addition to the available information in the PDD, feedback from the client on preliminary questions raised by the CRA. 5 - 7 days Preliminary Scan A quick turnaround, initial opinion of early stage projects based on limited information. A first opinion of the project’s potential to gain registration and create credits. This 2-4 page report will be accompanied by a list of questions on the topics where further work is required. This level of analysis is suitable when there is limited information available on a project, such as a draft PDD. 2 - 3 days 1 From receiving required information
