For over 35 years the ARC has been part of
many successful stories. Stories in which
individuals with tremendous potential and zeal
are given opportunities to develop without
regard to their developmental or physical
disability. Please take a few moments to

description of the various ARC programs and
services which may be perfect for you or
someone you care about.
Vocational Programs
ARC Industries, the Adult Development
Center and Adult Activity Center provide
vocational
opportunities
for
qualified
individuals*. Offering a range of services,
from individuals that require much support to
those that are ready to work in the community,
the ARC is the Imperial Valley’s largest
employer of individuals with disabilities.
ARC Industries also offers subcontracting,
commercial car wash, bulk mailing, and
subassembly services for Imperial Valley
businesses. Offering a full service Recycling
Center, ARC Industries is available to accept
your home and business recyclables. For more

ARC Transportation
The Imperial Valley’s best combines
Paratransit Company is ARC Transportation.
We are dedicated to quality of service, safety
awareness, and compliance with the governing
bodies in offering our clientele convenient,
ADA accessible, and affordable Paratransit
services.
ARC’s Paratransit Services consist of:
* AIM Transit, a county wide intercity
dial-a-ride service for seniors and
person certified under the ADA.
* El Centro, Imperial and West Shores DialA-Ride, available to the general public and
is considered especially useful for person
with disabilities and senior citizens.
* Med-Express, non emergency Paratransit
shuttle service exclusively to major medical
centers in metropolitan San Diego.
* ARC Paratransit Services, for
developmentally disable adults served
through various ARC programs.
H.E.A.R.T. Unit
The Health Education, First Aid Resources and
Treatment (HEART) Unit provides health care
training for the public. CPR, First Aid and
Safety training are examples of what we offer.
Our goal is to recognize and respond to the
education, training, and health care concerns
of the community to improve the quality of
life.

ARC Residential Services
Offering
a
living
alternative
for
developmentally disabled adults, ARC’s
Residential Services recognizes the various
needs and challenges of our residents. These
family style homes emphasize community
integration and personal growth.
A rich
variety of recreational opportunities are
provided in these licensed group homes. Our
goal is to provide high quality health care and
developmental services to everyone we serve.
