AHU No 07.02.339
DANVENT DV 10-240, TIME 10-40
Confirmed with requirements
TIME ec is a standard air handling
unit with EC-motors and integrated
control system. TIME ec is available in
6 sizes with airflows from
750-11.400 m3/h.
TIME ec is based on Systemair’s wellknown technology in production of
air handling units with more than 40
years of experience. TIME ec is sim
ple to dimension and easy to order.
TIME ec is delivered in 2 versions
with rotary heat exchanger and 2
versions with counter flow heat
exchanger. It is possible to order a
VDI 6022 approved TIME ec.

TIME ec air handling units
Components
1 Rotary heat exchanger is used when the
need for heat recovery is considerable. At the
same time it can recover humidity from the hot
extract air. It is very energy efficient and
requires limited space due to the short length.
Efficiency up to 85%, variable rotation speed
for adjusted efficiency, purging sector, plus
alarm if unintentional stop.
2 Counter flow heat exchanger is used where
there are special requirements of separation of
the airflows, example to avoid the transfer of
odours to the supply air. As humidity cannot be
transferred between the airflows it can be
used for dehumidification. Efficiency up to
90%, temperature sensor and modulating bypass damper ensures against ice building.
3 EC-motors, low energy consumption, good
control properties, high efficiency maintained
at small loads, low noise level and short length.
4 Supply and extract damper, air tightness
class 3 (EN 1751), aerodynamically damper
blades in extruded aluminum with rubber sealing, steel rods and brass bearings, actuators;
on/off or spring-return (additional option).
5 Supply and extract filters, bag filters in filter
quality F7/F5 (EN 779), fixed with filter rails
1
5
that ensures the tightness requirements (EN
1886), handle for easy replacement, alarm
when the filters need to be replaced.
6 Hot water coil, designed for temperature up
to 100 °C and pressure up to 10 Bar. The coil is
secured against frost (additional option).
7 Integrated control system, installed from
factory. See page 5.
8 Casing complies with air tightness class L3,
has closed frame profile of steel and aluzinc
185 protected panels with 50 mm isolation.
9 Supporting legs, made from strong galvanized steel and equipped with adjustable feet.

Additional options
Future construction calls for air handling units with great flexibility. This is met by the ability to change a variety of combinations. Below is an overview of standards and the most common additional options.
Standard
• Rotary or counter flow heat
exchanger
• Plug fans with EC-motor
(available in two sizes in each unit
size for optimal operation economy)
• Integrated control systems
(see page 5)
• Supply and extract filters;
filter quality F7/F5
• Supporting legs with adjustable
feet, indoor air handling unit.
Additional options
• Supply and extract damper with
actuators; on/off or spring-return
• Cooler fully mounted,
stepless controllable
• Hot water coil

Control system
TIME ec air handling units come with fully fitted and fully tested control systems from the factory. It is a user-friendly
system where functions and parameters are selected from the external control panel. The control panel can be placed
freely and be used as a remote control (max 10 m from AHU). The main operational data are displayed continuously on
the control panel display, including alarms, operating values, operating status and time settings. The startup is simplified
because the control system is pre-installed with default temperatures, time settings and regulatory sequences. The default
settings can easily be changed to the desired operational values.
Standard
• Control Panel (max 10 m from AHU)
• Week Schedule
• Choose between:
• Temperature control: Cascaded
room temperature, supply air temperature, outdoor temperature
compensated supply air temperature, outdoor temperature dependent switching between room control and supply air control.
• Air control: 2 fixed air flows, constant ducts pressure (VAV), constant ducts pressure with extract
fan as slave.
•
•
•
•

Night cooling
Cooling recovery
Filter guard on supply and extract
filter
• Alarm and safety functions
• Modbus.
Additional options
• Repeater (control panel max
1200 m from AHU)
• External fire signal, flow guard on
the extract fan or 2 pcs fire thermostats
• Heating coil, control plus frost
protection
•E
lectrical heater, modulating with
overheating fuse and control
• Control for cooling coil
• Control for change-over coil
• Control for DV cooler
• Heating- and cooling valves incl.

SystemairCAD
To ensure optimal dimensioning of the functions of the air
handling unit, an advanced design programme,
SystemairCAD has been developed. The programme is
very user-friendly and facilitates a simple and quick way
to combine functions. The software will make a technical
calculation and automatically, a complete technical documentation will be produced. The programme is also able
to generate a specification text for the tender and this text
can be transferred to any word processing system via the
rtf-files. The documentation is presented as a pdf-report
specifically regarding the air handling unit that has been
chosen. Furthermore drawings on the specific combination
will be included in the report. The drawings can be transferred to a CAD system through DXF files, in 2D or 3D.
