Emerson Network Power Announces New Branding Structure
for its Parallel Surge Protection Products
Binghamton, NY February 14, 2013 – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson
(NYSE:EMR) and a global leader in protecting and optimizing critical infrastructure,
announces a new branding structure for their parallel surge protection products
including:




Liebert–(Interceptor SI, SH, ACV, LM, LPGE)
ASCO–(Pulsar)
PowerSure–(CM, LPL, LPM)
IslaGuard (IH, IM, IL)
For more than 20 years, Liebert, ASCO, PowerSure and IslaGuard brands have
appeared on product labeling, documentation and sold into a global market. Today, the
new branding structure for the products listed above will migrate to a single brand
name—Emerson Network Power. Individual product part numbers will be renamed
numerically to reflect a product series, (500, 400 and 300 Series). As example, a Liebert
SI (Interceptor) product is now Emerson Network Power 560.
With the parallel surge protection product line changing to Emerson Network Power 500,
400 and 300 Series, only the product name and part numbers will be affected, the
product design and engineering will remain the same.

All associated product labels and documentation will be updated to reflect the new
branding, as well as changes to corresponding product web pages. Additional support
materials will be introduced in the following months including a product catalog and
installation recommendations.
